O’s Notes: The Swedish trio is Per Henrik (p), Peter Janson (b) and Leif Wennerstrom (d). Wallin plays a lot of Monk’s tunes with a clear sign of inspiration from Thelonious coming through on all of his playing. This is the dominating theme of the set, reminiscing a master.
