O’s Notes: Sonia Santos and Ana Gazzola are star Brazilian singers who met in Los Angeles. They joined forces and have released their third album together. It is a collection of contemporary Brazilian vocals that have the magic of samba, the natural relaxed groove that is universally appealing. Lyrics are in Brazilian Portuguese and English but the former is not a deterrent. They sing some classics like “One Note Samba” and “Jazz’n Samba”. There are also some more funky arrangements like “Jacksoul Brasiliero” and “A Felicidade”. The ladies are enjoying themselves singing and the feeling is contagious.
